Lodging

This is SORMA West 2016 legacy information made available to give you an idea of what SORMA West 2020 will be like.
Collegiate traditions meet modern convenience on the Clark Kerr Campus of the University of California, Berkeley: a budget-friendly place to stay, with the unparalleled convenience of being at the conference venue.

To reserve a room at Clark Kerr Campus, use the same link that you used for conference registration.

PrivateDormRoomCKC
Typical layout of Private Room at Clark Kerr Campus dormitories. Each person gets a private sleeping room such as this; several such rooms on a common hallway share a bathroom.
TwoRoomSuiteCKC

Typical layout of a Suite at Clark Kerr Campus dormitories. (Two-bedroom Suite is shown; three-bedroom is similar.) You may choose two- or three-bedroom Shared Suites or a two-bedroom Private Suite.

The beds are extra-long twin beds.

Fees
$90 / person / night: Private Room (with bathroom shared among several sleeping rooms that have a hallway in common)
$110 / person / night: Shared Suite (one private bedroom in a two- or three-bedroom suite; bathroom shared within that suite)
$160 / night: Private Suite (the entirety of a two-bedroom suite)

Prices are single occupancy.

Each type of room is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will post information about other nearby lodging options if Clark Kerr Campus appears likely to sell out.

Room Amenities: Bedsheets, pillows, towels, etc., will be provided, as will basic toiletries.

Note: Parking is an extra-cost item at Clark Kerr Campus. You can purchase a full-conference (Sunday through Thursday) parking pass for $100 at the conference registration website. Parking in the area is in short supply, and we discourage attendees from bringing a car. The “How to Get Here” page under the Travel menu describes several preferable options, such as taking the Bay Area Rapid Transit train from the airport and then a taxicab, or reserving a door-to-door airport shuttle.
