Collegiate traditions meet modern convenience at The Graduate by Hilton Berkeley, which is just an 0.3 mile (500 m), level-ground walk from the conference venue. Built in 1928 and known to generations of visitors and homecoming alumni as the Durant, it became The Graduate after a 2017 renovation.

SORMA West 2025 has arranged special rates on a Graduate Queen Room ($179 USD per night) and the Graduate Double Double ($199 USD per night). An even lower government per-diem rate offers a Queen Room for $145 a night. The deadline for the special rates is Friday, June 27, 2025.

One of the newest additions to the downtown Berkeley skyline and the Marriott family of hotels is the Residence Inn Berkeley. From the Residence Inn to the conference venue is an 0.6 mile (750 m), slightly uphill walk. Its apartment-style suites include full kitchens, perfect if you are parlaying your SORMA West 2025 attendance into a longer business or personal stay.

Notes on Parking and Local Travel

Parking at the Residence Inn Berkeley is valet-only at $54/day. Self-parking at The Graduate is $34/day. The Lower Sproul Parking Garage, adjacent to the venue, is open to the public at $3.50 per hour up to a $33 daily maximum. On-street parking in the campus perimeter neighborhoods is subject to residential-permit time restrictions that are alertly policed.
