This is the Call for Abstracts page as it stood before the deadline. It is now archival material.
We invite you to submit an abstract and a 1- to 2-page PDF file of supporting material for each presentation you would like to give. The deadline is midnight Pacific time (UTC -8) Friday, January 31.
A January 22 e-mail announcing the abstract submittal deadline mistakenly gave the cutoff as 5 p.m. Pacific time. The time stated here is accurate: midnight.
An abstract-submittal link is available below.
Subject Matter
SORMA West 2020 will focus on new concepts and technologies with the potential to advance homeland and national security applications in certain specific topic areas. Submissions that describe emerging technologies and/or new applications are welcome.
Submitting an Abstract and PDF Supporting Material
The path to the SORMA West 2020 program starts with submittal of a 500-word abstract plus one or two pages of supporting material in PDF. The abstract will eventually be publicly visible. The 1-2 page PDF of supporting material is for the committee’s use in making acceptance and session-assignment decisions and will not be published. It can include graphics, equations, color, etc., unlike the plain-text abstract.
Please submit and present only materials that are cleared for release: no classified documents; no “sensitive” or “for official use only” materials; and nothing corporate-confidential.
